Made in situ

Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance travels far and wide in search of materials and craftsmanship, and of the people who give them life. From these immersive experiences comes Made in Situ: a series of collections created since 2019, in which wood, earth, metal, stone and beeswax testify to a world, its landscapes and the people who shape them, revealing its full complexity and beauty.

Through the French designer's research, encounters and creations, this book reveals a different approach to design. Made in Situ depicts a design philosophy that seeks not merely to produce forms, but to offer a different way of inhabiting the world by bringing together what is often kept apart.
