The eiffel tower (version anglaise)

Everybody knows the Eiffel Tower! For some people it symbolizes Paris and France, whereas for others it represents a perfectly constructed piece of architecture. Although the tower’s construction may be the work of Gustave Eiffel, he was not alone in designing this great monument. Come discover its incredible history from the first plans to the present day!

Le 28 janvier 1887, sur le Champ-de-Mars, une tour est livrée en kit par les ateliers Eiffel. Un grand jeu de construction et une course contre la montre débutent alors pour les 200 ouvriers responsables de l’assemblage… L’édifice métallique sera-t-il achevé pour l’Exposition universelle de 1889 ?
