L'Auteur : François de Closets est actuellement producteur et présentateur des Grandes énigmes de la science sur France 2, après avoir coprésenté le magazine Savoir plus santé sur la même chaîne pendant plusieurs années. On ne compte plus ses succès de librairie depuis Toujours plus (1982). Rappelons : Tous ensemble (1985), La Grande Manip (1990), et, chez Fayard, Le compte à rebours (1998, 80 000 exemplaires vendus en édition courante).
